Why would Pakistan bomb its own people in a crowded marketplace? It is true there are Taliban incursions into Pakistan, but unless I've read all news reports in these past months backwards, President Musharraf worked up a deal with the Taliban or militants who side w/ Talibans, so there would be no attacks from either side. Now I read that at least 250 have died when Pakistan air-striked them as they were buying food for the end of the day in their Ramadan! Even if there were terrorists or militants or whatever there, most of the dead seem to be civilians!

So when ever you see news reports from pakistan or india, why is it that only men are there whaling...? about crap.. where are all the women? you know its a modern world, why the hell are they still seeing women as second class citizens? when creating offspring.. it takes two people not just one, to raise a family it takes two people not just one, women have voices too, they should be joining the men side by side.. not left at home to make "strong families"
Why does the news media always criticize India for its poverty? Yesterday (Aug 15) was India's 60th Independence Day and on BBC was a report to show a native man's trip back home to India. He was known as one of the midnight babies born on Aug 15, 1947. He goes back to India and all BBC shows is India's poverty and students (age of 7-10) saying that they would like to study abroad. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF SHOWING SOMETHING LIKE THIS ON INDIAN INDEPENDENCE??? My point is there are other places around the world that have it a lot worse than India. India is a nation where many successful doctors, engineers, and businessmen are educated from. India is only poor in some regions LIKE MANY OTHER COUNTRIES. How come it is that the news media does not criticize China or Pakistan or HALF OF THE AFRICAN CONTINENT!!!! I would like to know what others think of this. Have you noticed it? will the current turmoil and chaos in Pakistan finish the Pakistan cricket team? Is Pakistan cricket team going to come to an end, because of extreme chaos, riots and turmoil over there? on the news we often see thousands if not hundreds of thousands of mideasterners (iran, iraq, pakistan, etc... protesting various activities of their government or the united states government, or london or for whatever reason. there are always 1000's of these people yelling in the streets. How are they always able to get off work to go to these protests? Should americans be granted, say 3 days per month, to protest things we don't like here? (for example the war). Because we really can't protest the way others do in other countries, doesn't that make our government in the united states more controlling and less democratic than the countries we are trying to "Free" and bring democracy to?
