Why don't they make movies about Indian heroes lika Shivaji or Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Although Shivaji is very famous most of the Indians don't even know much about Ranjit Singh!!! Like it was the first time somebody from India attacked and conquered the pashtuns terroriteries. From Wikipedia:-He then spent the following years fighting the Afghans, driving them out of western Punjab. He also captured Pashtun territory including Peshawar. This was the first time that Pashtuns were ruled by non-Muslims. In a historical perspective, this event was very important. For more than a thousand years invaders had come down from the Khyber pass and ruled eastern lands. Ranjit Singh reversed this trend. Nobody has completely conquered the pashtun areas since even the British and Russia had only limited succeses only b4 failing miserably!! He was the last man to rule Pakistan and muslims were his subjects The last king of Pakistan--This should be the name of the movie if they finally make one.

Once again the same old story India lose to Pakistan. India is the weakest team against Pak? a. Yes b. No C. Comment Starting from Dhoni and other ten players earned lot of IPL Cricket matches. So they are now playing very very casual cricket. They have no interest to play fighting cricket. They are playing cricket like acting in a movie. Very very casual cricket. First of all they have totally forgotten that they playing for their country which population is over 100 crores. Worst players worst Indian cricket. Bowling department of the Indian team at worst. Batting is vulnerable against very weak pakistani bowling attack. So totally Indian team fit for nothing. Once again it is very very sad to see Indian defeat is continuing against pakistan even after Waqar Younis and Washim akram retirement. It shows such a small country pakistan producing wonderful cricketers. But with the population of 100 crores India not able to produce match winning cricketers . It is utter shame to BCCI and Indian Cricket. They better shut down the bcci office and take rest at home.
In Pakistan students of a religious school have threatened to forcibly shut down music shops,? threatened a woman minister for hugging a man etc. and insisted that Islamic law in its full form be imposed. Essentially this means no music, no movies, all pictures of the human form banned, all women be forced to wear the hijab, all men to be bearded, people forced to say their daily prayers ...etc. Any Islamic society which does not follow these (and many other) norms is criticized as not following Islam the way it should be followed. While this can be viewed as a severe curtailment on individual freedom, can muslims who do not agree to these restrictions openly oppose this because after all this how an Islamic society is supposed to be and standing up against these means you are standing up against Islam. ETOI- What I have written about not allowing music, forcing women to wear the hijab etc. is what Islam has specifically ordained. You can call it extremism if you wish. aali-Isnt the main problem with Islam the fact that people take the religious texts literally. The main issue is how much to accept & how much to not to. The other issue is forcing one's religious beliefs on others. ETOI- By hijab I do not mean the full face variety. However the issue is not in the variety but in forcing people to adhere to a dress code. There are any number of strong suras in the hadiths against pictures/drawings & music/dance. Everyhting is not drawn from the quran you know. Luqman 31:6 And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks (i.e. music, singing, etc.) to mislead (men) from the Path of Allah without knowledge, and takes it (the Path of Allah, the Verses of the Qur'an) by way of mockery. For such there will be a humiliating torment (in the Hell-Fire). Ibn Masood (ra) said about this verse "I swear by the One other than Whom there is no God that it refers to singing [ghinaa].", Ibn Abbaas (ra) said it refered to 'singing and the like' while Jaabir (ra) is reported to view its meaning to signify singing and listening to songs. Hadith - Bukhari (#787) [Also related by Tabari] Sa'id ibn Jbayr reported that Ibn 'Abbas said about the verse: "And of mankind is he who purchases idle talks" (31:6), that, "ldle talks means singing and the like." Pl note -These are no ordinary people but companions of the prophet. About painting/drawing - the hadees are aslo very clear-the painters would burn in hellfire.

a dream that i had...? i dont remeber the start or its end all i remember is that... me and my friend go to a movie store and we buy the movie "no country for old men" before buying it i tell the guy to give me a good video quality version of the movie (cuz i live in pakistan and the movies we buy here are of poor quality and are pirated). The store owner climbs on a stair or a table i think and pulls out the movie that is in a file with the colour light green and hands it out to me and asks me to pay him 222 rupees ( movies in pakistan cost 40 rupees roughly $0.25) and i guess the extra cost in the dream is bcoz of the good quality of themovie so i pull out 200 rupees from my pocket and i ask my friend to give the guy the rest of the money and he gives him 20 rupees and then we tell the store owner that we dont have 2 more rupees extra he says take it, its ok and then a guy writes the number 222 on the movies cover and then we leave tha store........And thats it tell me what this dream meas i have already seen the movie(pirated version) and didnt the understood the movie and was thinking about this movie again to see it (before the dream)

What is the best movie you ever saw in your life? I just saw a movie today that absolutely make the list of best movies I ever saw! It is the Kite Runner. There is a book of this movie The Kite Runner tells the story of Amir, a well-to-do boy from the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul, who is haunted by the guilt of betraying his childhood friend Hassan, the son of his father's Hazara servant. Movie named vijayta ? Hi this is a movie i love it is about a sikk family who where in the india pakistan partion and there sone goes into India air force. It stared shashi kapoor, rekha. The movie go like this " the Sik boy joins in the NDA , but his fathere Shashi Kapoor does not agree and feels that his son will let him down by quiting the forces. the Boy who is a sikk guy i dont know the actors name is determent to finish the training and prove that he can do it. which ofcourse he does and then goes to a war ....." There is no denying that the Iraq quagmire has become more and more of a nightmare. And this tarnishes the glorious past of the nation that emerged from WWII as a motherland of heroes, of freedom fighters. Unfortunately, the US military, intelligence and political decadence, as far as dealing with the world’s problems, was quick to start. The US never won in Korea. It was saved from total and shameful defeat at the last minute by the arranged cease-fire that holds until today. The US was outright defeated in Vietnam, despite every evenings news about how many enemies had been killed and how many bombs had been dropped. And now it has just been announced officially: the strategy for fighting Osama bin Laden’s leadership of Al Qaeda in Pakistan has failed. The White House has released a grim new intelligence assessment that has forced it to consider more aggressive measures inside Pakistan. The US is losing ground on a number of fronts in the fight against Al Qaeda and describes the terrorist organization as having significantly strengthened over the past two years. The main reasons for Al Qaeda’s resurgence: the hands-off approach toward the tribal areas by Pakistan’s president, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, who last year brokered a cease-fire with tribal leaders in an effort to drain support for Islamic extremism in the region. Meawhile, a bitter Congressional debate about the future of American policy in Iraq goes on. The Bush administration argues that Iraq was and still is the “central front” in the war on terror, because it was where Al Qaeda operatives were directly attacking American forces. However, the Republican government has to fend off accusations that it had been distracted by the war in Iraq and that the deals it had made with President Musharraf had resulted in lost time and lost ground.
