I just saw a movie today that absolutely make the list of best movies I ever saw! It is the Kite Runner. There is a book of this movie The Kite Runner tells the story of Amir, a well-to-do boy from the Wazir Akbar Khan district of Kabul, who is haunted by the guilt of betraying his childhood friend Hassan, the son of his father's Hazara servant. The story is set against a backdrop of tumultuous events, from the fall of the monarchy in Afghanistan through the Soviet invasion, the mass exodus of refugees to Pakistan and the United States, and the Taliban regime. The movie was nominated for Oscar. Another 2 wins & 9 nominations! The Kite Runner is the first novel by Afghan American author Khaled Hosseini. Published in 2003, it is the first novel published in English by an author from Afghanistan. This sounds more like an ad for the movie, as opposed to a genuine question. Are you an advertising bot? Now, if the kite runner movie, which was a horrible adaptation of the novel, really topped your list of favorite movies ever, i don't think my cinematic opinion will gel with yours very well. I think the essence of this question is spurious and impossible, since it's a form of madness to fixate on any one movie and tout it as the "greatest movie ever."
Borat. That is the best movie I ever saw. He is my perfect man LOL! I laughed so hard my face hurt the next day. My favourite scene is the naked hotel fight scene -- I love the way the 'blacked out' bits are such different sizes. That's a bit of poetic licence, I think.

....i'm almost embarrassed to say it, but "platoon" by francis ford Capella....it moved me, (many years ago, and many times since) i'm also a "gone with the wind" fan...i will certainly soon take up the opportunity to watch "the kite runner" as it sounds very interesting, and as per your recommendation. thank you....
I love so many I really do not have a single favorite. I loved the Green Mile, Steele Magnolias, 40 year old virgin. So many more. I am going to have to check out your movie it sounds really good.
