- Yes both admires .
- I admire the Indian cricket team. They played with lot of courage in Australia. It reminds me of the team that was captained by Imran Khan that won the world cup. In the same token I like the Sri Lankan team too, they have some of my favourite players.
- Yes only when they are not playing against each other
- I am Indian and ONLY Support the Indian Cricket Team
- For me Wasim Akram and Imaran Khan were the two that i like from pak, coz they were class players.
- No,never ever before or after.
- Well each & every person admire.
- Sorry, I don't.
- yes i am a Indian, i support India, but when Pakistan play against any other team except for India i want them to win. many of my fav players play for Pakistan for example, akhtar, afridi
- Yes.We admire the pakistanis and pakistanis admire us. Indians and Pakistanis are the two most friendliest countries in the world. Both of them rocks.
- Me as a Lankan admired the Indian cricket team before, but not now, cus they lack allot of discipline & the sportsmanship spirit in them. It's not that i hate the Indian citizens or anything, i just don't like the present Indian cricket team though they play well... Cheers!
- NO,NOT AT ALL.... i support any team playing against pakistan....
- I doubt that anyone could admire the Indian team as much as they admire themselves. You only have to watch Sreesanth or Ishtan when they are bowling, they can't keep their eyes off the big screen, especially Ishtan who seems mesmerised by his own reflection.
- i hate aussies..............
- I am an Indian fan and always admire Pak team as well as SL, BD teams. I have several close Pak friends who also admire our Indian team. We have differences of opinion which is fine, but we always respect each other and admire the teams. It is always the rivalry and friendship between these 2 teams, and we get the max excitement than any other teams we play. So this is the way it goes, when India and Pak play against each other, we support out own teams, but when one is playing other teams(Aus, NZ, Eng, WI, SA and others) we always support our Ind or Pak team that is playing against them.
- I admire the Pakistanis, though not when we are playing each other. But the respect for some Pakistani players is wellspread in India, like for old players-Zaheer Abbas, Imran Khan, even Wasim, Waqar, the Rajas, and the new ones like Shoaib, Inzamam(New!!), Yousuf and the others. I think the Pakistanis too have a healthy respect for our guys.
- There are few fundamental differences. Indians tend to like good players of Pakistan, like Zaheer Abbas and Imran Khan. Shoaib Akhtar became a sort of a hero when he was in Mumbai recently. This represents a composite culture of Indians. Pakistanis as people are basically communal. Their country was born out of hatred for the other religions. Many of the Hindus who stayed back in Pakistan at the time of Independence are either killed or forcibly converted to Islam. Their plight is the most 'pitiable' and is generally ignored. In this situation, I do not see how the bulk of the population of Pakistan will like Indian players whom they brand them as Hindus little realising the fact that in India, muslims get similar treatment as Hindus. They occupy the highest positions like President. They are the most popular film stars - like Dilip Kumar, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan, Meena Kumari, Nargis, etc. Even in cricket, there were plenty of muslims who represented India like Azharuddin, Irfan Pathan, Zaheer Khan, Wasim Jaffer, Syed Kirmani, Syed Abid Ali, Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi, Salim Durrani, Ghulam Ahmed, etc. The manifestation of hatred in Pakistan's society is visible in every day's news papers.
