What do "severe consequences" refer to as stated by Muslim clerics in Pakistan from the news Sept 21?

This is in regards the Pope's recent speech and quote of Manuel II Palaeologus, a Byzantine emperor: "Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by sword the faith he preached."

1. Based on what we have seen so far, it likely involves suicide bombings, beheadings, or hijackings. Just speculating, of course.

3. Remember the Muslims reserve the right to insult everything and everybody they care to, but give nobody the right to say anything about their beliefs. When Muslims make all sort of insulting remarks about the Jews or Christians, have you ever seen Jews or Christians screaming in the streets, burning flags, firing guns into the air, and carrying on like a bunch of idiots ? That shows the difference in mentality. Islam started out in the six hundreds, and never advanced. They're still stuck in the dark ages. When they decide to join the twenty-first century they'll be ashamed to see newsreels of the damn fools they made of themselves. When will that happen ? Who knows, they're still stuck in the " if only I had the bomb, I'd be like a God" idea. If they're so determined to spread Islam, they would do a lot better by example, not threats. The more they insult, the more they threaten, the further back they slide. But don't expect too much, they're stuck with that loosing mentality.
4. I think the Pope needs to stay out of POLITICS. When I heard his comment I thought.."is the Vatican Nuts?" All those learned brainiacs in the Vatican and nobody picked up on the inappropriateness of the comment. He wasn't giving a lecture at a Seminary. I am not nuts about Muslims but if Popes intent was to make some diplomatic gesture ...he failed miserably. The people in the mid east would kill because of a cartoon depicting what they say was their prophet. I saw the cartoons and they just looked like a cartoon. It doesn't take much to tip primitive people towards violence. THEY AIN'T LIKE US. Does the Pope have people that review his speeches ? Or does he hang on to it like it was one of the prophesies of FATIMA ? All the learned scholars and diplomats(?) in the VATICAN and nobody picked up on it. I got freakin GED from 1968 and I picked up on it as soon as I heard it. But somehow comment got by the VATICAN ANTHROPOLOGICAL CORPS. Which makes me think it was intentional. Motive....unknown. The Pope needs to stay in the Vatican and buff his jewels. Way to go OLD RED SOCKS!

6. They'll get very upset, and call their congressmen, and pray about it and....oh wait, that's what Christians do. The Islamo-Fascists will probably just blow up something or saw off someone's head, or some other unique way of showing that Islam is the religion of peace.
