  1. i think u should support the country which u think is right....but by looking at ur name...i think ur more of a muslim.....therefore....u should support pakistan.....ur parents support it 2....so u can 2,,,,,,,but dont forget......u can always support both.... Go PAKISTAN!!!!~~~~~!!!!
  2. they support pakistan because pakistanies r muslims. im a indian as well and my relatives do the same. i guess majority goes with the religion and dont really care about the country. take care. seek the truth, allah(god) willing, you'll find it.
  3. support the Truth no matter who has it.
  4. Standing for the what you believe to be right is more important than taking sides. If I feel India is wrong then I would be on Pakistan's side, and vice versa. Being a pakistani cricketer fan I would hope 90% of muslim indians support pakistani cricket team, but from my experience only 10% of indian muslims support pakistani cricket team. In my opinion ones place of birth plays a greater role, at least in sports!
  5. God! i wonder what your question's about! you're asking about which country should you support for the cricket? you musnt got anything else to do, do ya? i'm an indian muslim too (well, i'm half indian, half malay)...i support malaysia forever and ever!
  6. religion is quite different to nation. a Muslim can live anywhere in the world under their nationality only religion is a source of ethical living only.hence nationality is essential for peaceful living without prejudice. sports is a matter of entertainment among people with competitive spirit only. it is not war. hence people of particular country encourages their teams only. here religion does not have any point.hence practise your religion for ethical reason. support your national team in sports for spirit of the game.
  7. hey do u know the status of muslim population in India? India is having second largest muslim population after indonesia.so where pakistan ranks? u r not born in pakistan nor it is giving anything.u r living in india njoying here.
  8. Unfortunately,I am a Pakistani .she is the land of satan. India gave birth to Pakistan & she gave birth to YOU. In my opinion you should support the land of your forefathers i.e., INDIA BECAUSE India is little bit better than Pakistan.
  9. We understand the dilemma in your mind. Dear friend nationalism does not define caste. First you are indian then you can be Muslim/Sikh/Hindu. In the entire world you will find only one country that adores all the community and uplift minorties.Brutal kiilings of innocents in the name of Religion does not guide us to a better society. Youngsters like you must lead from front to guide the community towards patriotism.Appreciating a beeter team is good and blind support for brutallism is not religion. Indians are known for best culture that lead world and we are sure you are also a part of it
  10. The Holy Quran says, "O mankind! We (God) created you from a single pair of male and a female; and made you into peoples and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honoured in the sight of God is (he who is) the most righteous among you… (The Holy Quran, Surah al-Hujuraat, verse 13) From a historical perspective, all major elements of the present political dispensation of India were present even before Independence. Moreover, throughout the vicissitudes of the national struggle, the question of the future of Indian minorities, especially Muslims, often derailed the pace of the movement, providing the British with a nasty plank to play the dangerous game of “divide and rule”. This ultimately resulted in the creation of Pakistan and thereby forever bedeviling the Hindu-Muslim relation in India. Undoubtedly be the Muslims of India being constantly viewed as 'fifth-columnists' harbouring 'extra-territorial loyalties' Despite having contributed to just about every sphere of life - be it sports, politics, movies and music, fine arts or literature - Muslims are still questioned about their role in the growth and development of India bascially because of the 'pro-Pakistan sentiment.' displayed. Islam accepts differentiation based on gender and tribe, it does not recognise social stratification. But in reality, the Muslim community remains diversified, fragmented and as caste-ridden as any other community. In fact the levels of stratification witnessed within the Muslim community totally negate the Quranic edict. It should be acknowledged that this discriminatory practice among Muslims, observed all over the muslim world. A common refrain heard from many quarters of the Muslim community in India is: 'Islam khatre mein hai' (Islam is in danger). Amazingly the danger to Islam is more from its followers than its detractors. Muslims who have strayed from the path of Islam and failed to comprehend its essence are proving to be the real threat to Islam. The Muslims have gained the dubious distinction of sustaining a highly prejudiced and devious system of social stratification, the community would do itself a great favour by purging this evil from within its character. There is no gainsaying that fundamentalism is on the rise in India and Indian muslims are as much to blame as everyone else by the attitude displayed by you. But the Indian muslims have to emphatically come out where they belong, they chose to stay in India after partition and this is the country of your birth so be loyal to it. There are not only political but also religious divisions among violent clashes between members of the Sunni and Shia sects are reported from majority Muslim countries like Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Today, it is imperative that the Muslim community fights the ogre of communalism by adopting the prescription of the Muslim intellectual leadership. It is unfortunate that more and more younger generation muslims in India are associating muslims and Islam with Pakistan. It is for the muslims to come out and say emphatically where they belong. The secret of this game of survival was beautifully summed by Mr. Javed Akhtar, Urdu poet and lyricist: “The life-breath of the ogre of Hindu communalism lies in the heart of the parrot of Muslim communalism. Kill the parrot and the ogre will die.” In plain English, it means that the fundamentalist and opportunistic Muslim leadership and the pro Pakistan tilt has to be completely disowned by the Muslims.
  11. Hey, I answered your question earlier. Anyway let me cut & paste Who gave you the right to make such sweeping statements about Indian muslims?. I am an Indian & have muslim parents. The muslims I know support India because whatever they have got & whatever they are is due to their motherland. Ask yourself - What has Pakistan ever given to India or to Indian muslims other than having them linked to terrorism. Further, cricket/hockey matches are not religious battles between Indian hindus & pakistani muslims. They are just matches between 2 countries & you should support the country to which you are a citizen of. By the way, exactly which place are you from?
  12. i think in the matter of game you should support your own country?? caz u are a hindustani hindustani is not a hindu but hindu is derived from hindustan it self its a geographical name of a person how lives in hindustan.. i am a pakistani i will support pakistan in the field of games.... and so do u prefer your own country..and u should be proud of it... but when it comes too religion as far as they dont force u to do any activity against your religion u should always be a indian or a hindustani....u got all the rights for your religion..then its totally ok.. i want to see india+pakistan= hindustan once again
  13. Nobody could deny that Muslims have a rich literary tradition. Many would attest that the Arabic language is the common tongue that binds the Muslim brethen together. It seems that a devout Muslim's sense of belonging to the "ummah" could transcend even the borders set by nation-states. He identified himself as a Muslim first, than an Indian. After all some might argue that the sense of a nation is a state of mind, and all one needs to do is change his/her mindset. When it comes to issues of identity, the facination of what's difficult should be fully explored not shunned. Because people prioritise their sense of belonging differently and from varying identities forth, the world is imbued with a rich plethora of myriad opinions.
