unfair to the U.S.?
don't you think we are being unfair to the U.S. because soccer is not very popular here, what about New Zealand/Australia (rugby), Canada (hockey), Japan/Korea/Taiwan/Venezuela (baseball), Pakistan/India (cricket).

- no?
- Yes and no. I'll explain no first. MOST people in the U.S. disrespect soccer without even giv'n it a chance. Yes because more Americans have stopped diss'n soccer and soccer is startting to grow and the rest of the world hasn't relized that. I think that the rest of the world needs to see that America is, slowly, changing. The USWNT is most likely the Best in the world and the USMNT as bad as their made out to be, they are accualy good at soccer.
- no because if you think of the size of America compared to britain and other places and the ammount of people that live in america the ammount of talent they could have would be alot but they just diss football/soccer with out giving it a go , a meen they do have a world cup team and a few socca teams here and there but they just dont give it the effort as british, italian teams do
- NO why
- OK for futbol to be good or great in the us you need what the best teams in the world have allot of. poor kid not going to school so that they could play futbol, for the little chance that if they get really good a local team will pick them up, and the rest is history. first this is a combination of thing way to many to put together but I'll do my best to list them. 1. local teams around the world play for their city or town, so now you play for he towns name" human nature you want be part of the best city". the fans bring that to the table. the more people come the more money the club make the more player they buy. 2 pride for the game.. to know what it means.. the history of how played before, respect to the older player that sparked the interest in you. playing for the color of the team. 3 money ......... biggest key of all ..... see went a player starts playing for the most part they don't make shit. so it's on their best interest to become great player so that they could make lots of money, and not have their families live in a box. that hunger is the drive for this guys, getting out of poverty. so you see this could go on for ever. the us has a system in place, but it's for baskeball and football. until this changes the us will never come close to be in the top 20 in the world..that reallylty,, yes every once in a while a few player will come on everybody will say " see we are good to " but when those player leave, there is no more. look at how many player argentina has more then can use. but they are looking at the 6,7,8 year old kid to start getting them gready. the us those not have that. that all
