Can anyone remember a drama series?

It was on in the late 80's I think and all I can vaguely remember about it was that there was an English woman and she was married to a man who was from Pakistan and she came home one day to find that he had taken the children to Karachi and she had to go out there and try and fight to get them back. It was a few parts and I only saw it the once. Can anyone remember it and what it was called? Do you know where I can find out info about it? There is no info on IMDb.
