- Decode this lyrics ' The colour of the wind" Ever wonder what colour it is?
- I have been to Pakistan whilst the current government have been in power, let me tell you that as a female on business there who has travelled many places including lots of places in the sub contintent, that I have never been so afraid of my personal safety as there, this country is and never has been a democracy, that is a laugh, it is a dictatorship of the worse kind, think about it, how do they treat women in their society? Whilst I was there I stayed at the MARROIT HOTEL in Karachi and the Prime Minister held a function at that Hotel, I was just leaving the business centre at the hotel when I was told by a staff member to get the service elevator to go back to my room and leave the elevator for the men who were waiting, this tells you that there is not a democracy there without my going on and on why is there a warning from many countries to ban their citizens travelling there? I could go on but I think I have covered the main points.
- People of Pakistan seems to have chosen a dictator as their ruler democratically. Their politicians are no better than the dictator.
- It's a dictatorship under the cloak of democracy. Pakistan has never been able to enjoy democracy, because of selfish and corrupt politicians like Benazir and Sherrif. The country has always progressed, if at all, under dictatorship, particularly since Musharaf took over. But now looks like he too is greedy and does not want to gie up power, both political and military.
- who knows and who cares
- Here is an article from 2002 concerning free elections in Pakistan. The same holds true today. ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN) -- Pakistan's first elected parliament in three years has been sworn in hours after the country's military leader himself took the oath for a new five-year term in office. President Pervez Musharraf, who seized power following a bloodless coup in 1999, extended his tenure following a controversial referendum held earlier this year. It is still a functioning democracy, but Islamic extremism is growing exponentially in that nation, which will likely lead to a revolution, and a Taliban style government installed (with nuclear weapons)
