About four hours after he arrived on a flight from London, Sharif was taken into custody and charged with corruption, but then quickly spirited to another plane and flown out of Pakistan toward Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, an intelligence official said. An official in President Gen. Musharraf's office confirmed Sharif was deported but did not divulge his destination. Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to speak to media. There was no immediate formal confirmation from the government. The comparison between Musharraf and Saddam Hussein is not valid. The general may not be a shining example of a democratic leader, but he is not a blood-soaked tyrant responsible for the deaths of thousands nor has he invaded his neighbours. In fact he has made peace with his neighbours. Sharif was a considerably worse leader of Pakistan who should be in prison, but has been deported. How many opponents of Saddam were treated like that?

First USA should give Pakistan the proper and latest equipment to seal its border with Afghanistan then criticize Pakistan, I wonder how Americans can only blame Pakistan for Taliban attacks? Since all 35 NATO nations are in Afghanistan with their latest equipments USA itself is there with the number one technology, Afghanistan should care about its borders but yet the whole world and specially USA blame only only PAKISTAN.
